In the middle of July I took part in a symposium called "Kunstparcour" in Bad Schlema for a week. Each of the selected artists from five countries created a sculpture for the wellness park of the little town of Bad Schlema in Thueringia.
We have had a good time there and I am fairly proud to present you my big version of the "Bienenkoenigin". You will find more images on my blog (link below).

Currently I take part in the Nordart project
(www.kic-nordart.de) in Rendsburg/ Büdelsdorf.
Another project I'm working on is a large wooden sculpture for a public park. For more information and to see the daily progress, visit

From January to February I am participating in the Kunstsalon 2008 of the FMDK e.V. at the Haus der Kunst in Munich.

I have started my new year with carving several new wood reliefs. In this medium, my theme has become both more abstract and closer to its origin at the same time , substracted from the whole, as it were.

I have been reworking my topic with a series of wood and linoleum prints. Through the element of series that is inherent in these techniques, I find myself faced with new possibilities. In a small format I can explore a varied number of color and shape compositions. Most of the hand-printed graphics use four or five color planes.

Currently I am working on a further wooden sculpture and at the same time I am transforming my work theme into block-prints. These graphic works and other new pictures will be exhibited in a branch of a big book store Buchhandlung Hugendubel, Leipzig, Petersstrasse, 8 May to 8 June 2007.

I would like to make you aware of my forthcoming exhibition in Wernigerode (Saxony-Anhalt) at the "Galerie des Kunstvereins" starting on February 22. Included in the exhibition will be new paintings, graphics and sculptures.

Currently, you can see one of my new paintings at the "winter salon" in hackney, a quarter of London.
I especially enjoyed being there, because this is the place, where the lesney factory was located 20 years ago.
